Teens Show Up To Court Drunk

On November 26, 2012, a deputy with the Meagher County Sheriff's Office made a traffic stop. The vehicle was travelling at 93 mph at night. The driver of the vehicle Alex Peek of Winston, received numerous citations including a citation for Driving a Motor Vehicle with a BAC Over .02% While Under the Age of 21. His brother, Anthony Peek, a passenger in the vehicle, also received a citation for Minor in Possession of Alcohol. The vehicle was impounded.

On December 6, 2012 Ryan Hiatt of Toston was issued citations for Possession of Dangerous Drugs (Marijuana) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after he gave deputies permission to search his vehicle. While searching the vehicle deputies found a small jar containing marijuana and a pipe used to smoke marijuana.

On December 17, 2012 all three individuals appeared before City Judge John Wells. Judge Wells could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage so he called the Meagher County Sheriff's Office. After submitting to breathe tests all three individuals were issued citations for Minor In Possession Of Alcohol. Court was postponed until the three could sober up.
