3 Locals Arrested for Growing Marijuana

In the spring of 2011 local law enforcement and agents from the Missouri River Drug Task Force raided a local marijuana grow. When the grow was raided they found over 70 marijuana plants in different stages of growing.

On March 21, 2013 Judge Spaulding issued arrest warrants for Kenneth Tipton, Ronald Tipton and Barbara Baker. They were all charged with Criminal Production or Manufacture of Dangerous Drugs (Marijuana)a felony. Their bond has been set at $20,000 each.

Due to the numerous court challenges involving Medical Marijuana, the Attorney General's Office decided to wait until the courts made a decision before moving forward with their prosecution.
