In this month the Sheriff’s Office received five hundred sixty six (566) incoming calls, twenty two (22) of the incoming calls were 9-1-1 calls, and two hundred seventy five (275) people coming into the office. For a total of eight hundred sixty three (863) people who contacted the Sheriff’s Office. Out of these contacts, sixty five (65) were new complaints.

For the month of December 2013, thirty (30) complaints were located in the City of White Sulphur Springs, and thirty five (35) were in the County of Meagher.

CITY COMPLAINTS:
12-02-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Local hospital called requesting a patient transfer to Bozeman. Dispatch assembled a crew and the transfer was completed.

12-03-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Deputy and Ambulance responded to a residence for an elderly female who had fallen in her home. Patient was transferred to local hospital.

12-03-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Deputy and Ambulance responded to local residence to elderly female having difficulty breathing. Patient was transported to local hospital.

12-06-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Elderly resident called requesting the ambulance for transport to the hospital. Deputy and Ambulance responded, patient was transported to local hospital.

12-10-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Local hospital called requesting the ambulance for a patient transfer to Billings. Dispatch assembled a crew and the transfer was completed.

12-10-2013 RECKLESS DRIVING: Individual came into the office to file a complaint for an individual driving in a reckless manner. Deputy responded but was unable to locate the vehicle.

12-15-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Local hospital called requesting the ambulance for a patient transfer to Great Falls. Dispatch assembled a crew and the transfer was completed.

12-17-2013 THEFT, ALL OTHER: Local resident called to report the theft of her Christmas lights. Deputy was advised and the incident is under investigation.

12-18-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Individual called requesting the ambulance for a 50 yr. old female who was disoriented. Deputy and Ambulance responded and patient was transported to local hospital.

12-26-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Individual called requesting the ambulance for his elderly mother who was losing
consciousness. Deputy and Ambulance responded, patient was transported to local hospital.

12-29-2013 FAMILY DISTURBANCE-DOMESTIC PROBLEM: Individual called requesting an Officer as he was having a problem with his cousin. Deputy responded and removed the cousin from the residence.

12-31-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Local hospital called requesting a patient transfer to Great Falls. Dispatch assembled a crew and the transfer was completed.

COUNTY COMPLAINTS:
12-04-2013 PUBLIC ASSIST: Deputy from Hardin called requesting a welfare check on a local resident. He talked with an individual who stated he had received a text stating one of our residents was thinking of suicide. Deputy was notified and responded and spoke with individuals involved.

12-05-2013 FIRE/SMOKE: Individual called stating she had a strong smell of propane and smoke in her home. Fire Dept. and Deputy responded-propane smell was determined to be coming from a faulty furnace and the smoke was from a prescribed burn at the airport.

12-09-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Individual called stating they had picked up a 20 year old male in deep creek canyon who had rolled his jeep and taken him to their home. Ambulance responded to the residence and transported him to local hospital.

12-11-2013 ARGUMENTS/VERBAL: Individual called to report him and his wife were fighting. Deputies responded and the Sheriff assisted in gathering some belongings of the wife so she could leave the residence.

12-11-2013 RAN OFF ROAD-TRAFFIC/PROPERTY: Dispatch received report of a non-injury vehicle slide off. Deputy was notified and responded.

12-12-2013 STALKING: Individual called stating she was getting mail from an inmate from the jail in Livingston, and she wanted it to stop. Sheriff was notified and began an investigation into the incident.

12-12-2013 THEFT FROM BUILDINGS: Individual called to report the theft of 150 traps. Sheriff was notified and began an investigation.

12-14-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Deputy and Ambulance responded for a male who had passed out. Upon arriving on scene patient refused transport to the hospital.

12-15-2013 RAN OFF ROAD-TRAFFIC PROPERTY: Individual called to report sliding off the road. She was not injured but the vehicle had some damage, she stated she was leaving the vehicle and would have it towed in the morning.

12-15-2013 ANIMAL-TRAFFIC PROPERTY: Individual called to report hitting a deer causing damage to her vehicle. Dispatch advised her to pick up an MHP White Form for insurance purposes.

12-15-2013 OVERTURNED IN ROAD-TRAFFIC INJURY: Individual called to report a one vehicle roll-over accident on Hwy. 12 E. Deputy, Fire and Ambulance responded, driver of vehicle was transported to local hospital and later flown by Mercy Flight to Great Falls.

12-17-2013 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/VANDALISM: Individual came into office to report the window on his ice house had been broken out. Deputy was advised and the incident is under investigation.

12-20-2013 FIRE/SMOKE: Dispatch received report of a possible structure fire on Hwy 12 East. Deputy and County fire responded, when deputy arrived on scene it was found to be a slash pile burning-all responding units were cancelled.

12-21-2013 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/VANDALISM: Local rancher called to report that someone had gone through his fence line causing considerable damage. Deputy was notified and the incident is under investigation.

12-21-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Dispatch received report of an injured snowmobiler that would be in the showdown parking lot. Deputy and Ambulance responded, Ambulance rendezvoused with Cascade ambulance where patient care was transferred.

12-22-2013 LOST SNOWMOBILER: Dispatch received report of a 17 yr. old who was sledding on Kings Hill who had not been seen since 1500 hrs. Search and Rescue and Sheriff responded. Snowmobiler was located at 2330 hrs. and was okay.

12-27-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Deputy and Ambulance responded to Checkerboard for an elderly male with shortness of breath. Patient was transported to local hospital.

12-29-2013 SICK CARED FOR: Local ski resort called requesting the ambulance for a 17 year old male with a hip injury. Ambulance responded and transported patient to Benefis in Great Falls.
